I really have a good time reading at parties – and the one tonight was even more fun than usual. A bunch of friends, mostly all connected by their work in a medical office, and held at a fiber arts store owned by one of them.
When I arrived, the store was still open, with customers and a class, and the friends group was holding a jewelry party on one of the tables. Lots of action going on, so I wandered around the store looking at all the books and colors and yarns and stuff that folk had made. Snacks around, too – so it was all good.
Eventually we all settled down, and the readings began, with each one of the friends in turn and I off at a separate table while everything else went on around us. As always, there were common threads, cards that repeated in nearly every reading. With this group, it was the risk takers, the pages, willing and eager to have new experiences, think new thoughts, try something different. Several had cards urging creativity and adding more of the arts into life, whether by doing or by attending most especially music events.
There was also a general trend toward more spirituality and increasing intuition. The fairies wanted to help several folk with specific issues, so we talked about how to ask for and accept spiritual help.
Another fun evening, with the Tarot cards as usual right on target. Always makes me happy!
