The Tea Room in Milford

July 4, 2011 By pgarry

Right there at 217 Main Street in Old Milford, Route 50 just across the bridge from Terrace Park, is the very cute and homey The Tea Room. I went there first, early in June, with my adopted daughter and friend Maria, who has since birthed her daughter Lucia, who was definitely with us that day, though not yet actively out on the planet. And then last Saturday, adopted daughters Susan and Jenn were along, leaving their recent beautiful babes at home with the papas.

You can either have a very nice lunch at The Tea Room, or a definite High Tea with all the trimmings. It’s great, either way. No hurries, no worries. What would be the point of going to a tea house in a rush? Two of us were vegetarian, one required a gluten free meal. All easily and pleasantly done.

Lots of tea cups and saucers and Victorian decorations around, enough space not to be crowded, a leisurely, relaxed friendly place. The food is very good, we had lots of time to talk and lots to talk about.

Aaaaaahhhhh. What a wonderful day! Call 513.340.4736 for reservations.
