Full Moon Sleeping

January 29, 2013 By pgarry

Almost always during the 3 or 4 days of most intense full moon energy, I don’t exactly sleep. Or rather I do, but sort of in cat naps, waking up and falling asleep. I’m not tired during the day, or anxious or sleepy. And I’ve gotten used to it – if it’s full moon, I’m pleasantly awake nearly as much as I’m pleasantly asleep.

Then – the previous full moon, late December, I slept right through it, sleeping way more than ordinarily. So I just figured I was in another phase of something, or just dealing with Christmas in a new way, or… And I didn’t worry about it, but just observed it

So last night I was amazed that I was awake almost all night. And not pleasantly so. I was chewing on two different relationships, and undone tasks, and anything I could find to fault myself about. Most unusual. So I lightly chewed (literal chewing this time) on 2 rescue remedy pastilles at two different points in the night, and worked on my meditation skills.

The night passed, as nights do.
