The Last Christmas Celebration of 2014

February 8, 2015 By pgarry

Friend Carolyn and I, who have been known to celebrate Christmas just before our Gemini birthdays, got it together fairly quickly for 2014, all things considered.

So my last Christmas 2014 celebration just happened Friday night, February 6. Amazing. We save bags from year to year, and use them over again. We often will give each other the same items.

This year, because Carolyn was realizing I have a big birthday coming up, I got two huge green balloons, that will inflate to 36″ apiece. She always writes a wonderful card, which I manage to do sometimes. And the 2014 card is quite spectacular – I’ll have to save it and return it to her for our 2015 celebration. It’s mixed media art, with a pair of mittens – Patricia written on one, Carolyn on the other.

She writes that she is ‘so glad we are getting together more, and enjoying where our Journey is leading us. I am also glad we have a GPS that we are using, which will truly get us to where we want to go and “Be” – The Life of How Fun!’

And here’s her claim for us for 2015 – ‘This is our year of harvest, and then we plant more in the fall.’ I am joining her in that claim. Here we go!
